TP Thursday: Holiday Trees

As the holiday season wraps itself around our chilly Pacific Northwest, we start thinking about our holiday trees.

Not the holiday kind under which gifts are placed, but those trees that bring memories of holidays, or vacations, we’ve taken during the past year.  Instead of ornaments, our trees are decorated with wonderful memories of time spent together, adventures shared, new friends made and destinations discovered.

There’s  Honolulu’s Waikiki Beach on Hawaii’s island of O’ahu.

We are hoping your tree is decorated with wonderful holiday memories as well!

It is Travel Photo Thursday!  Take a trip around the world by visiting Budget Traveler’s Sandbox, the blog where the project began.

  1. I wouldn't mind lounging under one of those "Holiday Trees" myself right now. Heck, it's almost as cold as Seattle down here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

  2. No smell of Christmas in our home this year - hate that part when you're going to be away and it's not worth getting a real tree.
Sunshine and palm trees sound very appealing right now.

  5. Love the difference and similiarities of all the trees- and HOllywood Florida, my best friend is from there but I've never heard of people visiting! (I'm from St. Augustine!)

  6. Note to Jade: Not only did we visit, we stayed a week in Hollywood. And we'd love to return. It was like a gem hidden between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami! And St. Augustine is also on our list.
Nancie pls post photos from Hua Hin
And thanks much to all of you who visited on TP Thursday.

We have been having problems in recent weeks with our comment section and I am not quite sure how to fix it. Thanks for letting us know. Some comments have been coming in as emails, so I will respond to those as I get them.
